Apply for the Millage Referendum Citizens Oversight Committee
The Millage Referendum Citizens Oversite Committee will be responsible for providing the School Board and the community with information related to the utilization of the funds generated by the millage. The Committee will be made up of nine (9) members of the community. Committee members will be volunteers. Members will be residents of Nassau County and will have expertise in fields such as planning, education, business, finance, auditing, athletics, or the arts. Applications will be accepted through May 31, 2023. Interviews will be scheduled sometime after July 4, 2023.
Applicants will be required to participate in an interview with a selection committee. The selection committee will submit their choices to the School Board for official approval at a regular School Board meeting in July. It is anticipated the Millage Referendum Citizens Oversite Committee will conduct its first meeting late July or early August.
